Hi! I’m Jess Stanley. I’m an authorised marriage celebrant and MC based in Naarm/Melbourne. When I’m not marrying couples, I work as a performer and writer.

Ceremonies shouldn’t be the the most boring part of your wedding that you just have to get through. They can be lighthearted and fun, romantic and sincere, and even the most memorable part of your day.

If you’re getting married, I’ll take care of all the legal stuff to get you there, write you a personalised ceremony that reflects you, and help you write your vows!

Why did I become a celebrant? Well, it was a long-term goal of mine, so when I stood beside my bestie as she got married to the love of her life in 2019, I knew that I wanted to use my pre-existing skills to give back to the community, by helping couples have relaxed, entertaining and authentic ceremonies that reflect them. Then Covid hit, and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to begin studying. I completed my certification online during lockdown and haven’t looked back since. In 2022, my first year solemnising marriages, I married over 50 couples!
